Village Committee Member

Position Objectives:

Are you interested in being part of our municipal governing process?  We have several Village committees that are responsible for different facets of Sherwood.  Please click the highlighted term (to review meeting minutes of the committees), but below are summaries of our Boards and Commissions:

Plan Commission - The Village Plan Commission is responsible for the creation of a vision, goals, and priorities of our municipality.  This commission meets monthly on the first Monday of every month at 6:30 PM at the Village Hall.  

P.R.U.T. Board - The Sherwood Park, Recreation and Urban Tree (PRUT) Board is responsible to provide, maintain, and supervise all recreational grounds and those activities.  The committee meets monthly on the third Monday at 6:30 PM at the Village Hall.

Community Development Authority - The Community Development Authority is responsible for the oversight into planning and implementing various community development programs including housing improvement and neighborhood redevelopment programs. This committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM.
